Pearson Test of English
PTE Academic test is an entrance requirement to Academic courses in the US, Australia, New Zealand. It assesses the student’s listening, reading, speaking and writing all via computer in a single 3-hour test session. PTE Academic assesses real-life, academic content, so you will hear experts from lectures and view graphs and charts. You will hear a range of accents in the test, from British and American to non-native speakers; thus, you will be exposed to a myriad range of accents that you will encounter in everyday life.
PTE General, formerly known as the London Tests of English, is an exam designed for EFL persons who plan to live or work in English countries. It’s a separate test and is for immigration, not for academic purpose.

The PTE Academic test is a three-hour test session. There are three main parts to the test: Speaking and Writing (together), Listening and Reading. There are twenty different question formats, ranging from multiple choices through to essay writing and interpreting information.
